Studio Blog # 2

okay guys so after two long days of frustration and hard work it finally payed off...
we thought we were going to get a lot more done than we actually did but the song we were able to finsih turn out better than any of us had imagined....

heres everything that happened after getting lost trying to find an alternate route to the studio Brian and i arrived at 4:30 to meet dave and bob shortly after recording commenced and Bob was first up....after about 45 minutes to an hour time Bob was done with a bass part he was proud of......
shortly after Dave came in and started laying down tracks....
after a few mishaps we finished and even made recording history as far as we are aware of......dave wanted a pick slide and the gibson sg was sounded like a boeing JET so not only did we have to use a seperate guitar for a pick slide but we also made a track soley dedicated to a single pickslide lol. shortly after all the pressure was on me and i was up to lay down vocals....shortly after recording .....we all discussed some new ideas for how to harmonize and close out the song....so we decide to gather the band around the mic and fade out with a harmonizing outro....
after a hetic sprint to clean up we were able to obtain a cd with a rough version of the song (which we think sounds amazing) and it is currenly playing at our myspace so check it out and we hope you enjoy
