hey this is Randy the guitarist/singer from Arlington if you don't know me. so any ways its 12 am wendsday
morning.... we had a very late night last night in the studio with tony and have to go back in tonday to finsh up some
tracks for the song THE WALTZ OK so heres the recap on monday night...after many hours of working through the same
song for pre production ...we ending up taking a five minute song and making it three minutes.....we cut the intro, pre chorus,
and brige in half getting rid of unnecessary stuff....chances are we might play the long version for shows...to liven things
up but who knows.... alright shorty after 8pm tonys friend came into the studio packing enough mics to put a down payment
on a large house....one word came to mind.....sweeeeeet! alright after tuning the drums and fiinding optimum miking positions
to capture the best sound...recording comenced......runing through hours upon hours of click tracks the drums were finally
done and we all were very tired....brian and dave departed and i layed down my guitar parts. although by this time i
was in a very fatigued condition i managed to get my guitar part where i liked them around this time we were all on the
verge of collapsing so we heading home to get a much deserved sleep.
so on to today.....here what
we have to acomplish in a 4-5 hour session -lead guitar tracks -bass tracks -guitar (lead and rthyum) overdubbs -vocals so
all in all few have only yet to begin to show you what where capible.....and this beats the shit out of my boss BR1180
recorder anyways we'll let you know how tomorrow goes and when we can expect a finish product of the waltz see ya -RANDY
